Scope and controller
This notice covers asicmetrics.com and its mining calculators. The operator identification above applies to this notice. Contact privacy@asicmetrics.com about data protection. The data controller is Miguel Sarasola Vicente, the individual who operates the ASICMetrics project in Spain.
Calculator inputs and shared scenarios
Calculations and model searches run in your browser. Editing an input does not submit it to a calculator database. The application does not create user accounts or save scenarios in cookies, localStorage or sessionStorage. Sharing a scenario places inputs and selected models in its URL. Anyone with that URL can inspect those values; reopening it sends the URL to the website server and it can appear in browser history or server logs. Do not include confidential information in shared links.
Website requests and technical information
Your browser sends the website server technical information needed to deliver pages, such as IP address, requested URL, request time and browser information. Server or reverse-proxy logs may record these details depending on the deployment configuration. The application does not operate an advertising profile or an active analytics service. These technical operations support delivery, troubleshooting and security; where GDPR applies, the intended basis is the legitimate interest in operating and protecting the service, subject to proportionality and your rights.
Contact correspondence
If you email us, the message, address and any information you provide are processed to handle your enquiry, correction or privacy request. General correspondence is handled on the basis of the legitimate interest in responding to requests; applicable data-protection requests are handled to meet legal obligations. Providing an email message is voluntary. Without a usable reply address or sufficient details, a response may not be possible. We do not use contact messages for an advertising mailing list.
Hosting, providers and external websites
The website is hosted on the operator’s Ubuntu server with OVHcloud. Bitcoin market and network data are requested from mempool.space by the server; the application does not include visitor IP addresses, email addresses or calculator scenarios in those API requests. Following an external source link connects your browser to that website, which has its own policy.
Retention and deletion
Calculator state lasts while the page is open unless you copy it into a URL or your own clipboard. Browser history, bookmarks and your email account are controlled separately. Correspondence should be retained only while necessary to handle the enquiry and any applicable legal obligations or claims, then deleted.
Your rights
Where applicable, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing by contacting privacy@asicmetrics.com. These rights have legal conditions and exceptions. If processing is based on consent in a future feature, consent can be withdrawn without affecting prior lawful processing. The current application does not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about individuals. You may lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority, including the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
Changes to this notice
The review date appears above. Material changes to hosting, analytics, advertising, contact collection or storage require this notice to be reviewed before those features are introduced. This notice does not authorise undisclosed tracking or future data uses.
